Our RMEC Orchestra is one of the only orchestra programs in Miami-Dade County. Our members are part of community ensembles such as the Greater Miami Youth Symphony. Many of our players are chosen for the school musical every year.

​

In 2017, three of our orchestra members were chosen for the MDCPS Superintendent's Honor's Orchestra. In the 2016-2017 school year, we received an overall "Excellent" rating at District Music Performance Assessments. In 2019, we had 6 Students receive a Superior rating and 5 Students relieve an Excellent rating at District Solo & Ensembles. Our orchestra brings us a well-rounded, sophisticated flair to our Pirate Family.
